Matt Hennings, a family man, new dad, avid golfer, doctor of physical therapy, and certified golf rehabilitation professional, originally from Florida. Matt is a trusted and experienced PT and received certification as an orthopedic clinical specialist. He has a wide knowledge base and expertise in the fields of orthopedics and sports medicine.

Prior to joining the Sport and Spine team, Matt spent 7 years working daily and directly with a great group of orthopedic surgeons which allowed for extensive experience working with post-operative patients. He also enjoys working with patients who are trying to avoid surgical intervention. Matt is fun, relational, a born educator and loves teaching all of his patients about their anatomy, diagnosis and recovery process. He believes connection with a patient, and a good understanding of your injury is paramount to a speedy recovery.
In his spare time, besides golfing, Matt is known as Mr. HGTV, an avid carpenter, works on remodeling DIY projects around his house and playing with his two dogs, Carson and Hank. He loves his East Coast family and joins his brothers for an annual ax throwing competition.
