Christa Antrim
PT, DPT
Christa Antrim is a highly skilled compassionate physical therapist with 16+ years of experience. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in exercise sports science and a minor in psychology from Oregon State University in 2002. She completed her doctorate degree in 2005 from Pacific University. She has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedic settings specializing in manual therapy techniques, and post-operative procedures in Salem (at Hope Orthopedics) for 11 years.
Prior to working as a physical therapist, Christa traveled internationally as a fashion model. This experience supported her love of different cultures and her capacity for empathy and communication with persons from all walks of life. It also opened her eyes to the exploitative behaviors of the Fashion Industry firsthand, reinforcing her passion for female self-empowerment and mentorship.
Christa was blessed with 2 beautiful boys of her own and understands the desire for women to reclaim their bodies after pregnancy. She is currently pursuing her national certification in pelvic floor rehabilitation, and women’s health education. She has a strong desire to provide thorough, knowledge-based treatment, understanding the intimate connection of the bodies systems as a whole. She is excited to grow an exceptional women’s health program here in Albany.
Outside of work she keeps busy with her husband and 2 boys. She enjoys dancing, camping, hiking and attending her boys sporting activities, as well as participating in choral and local community theater including musical productions.
